MVELOPES PERSONAL 3.0 NAMED SITE OF THE DAY BY ADOBE
DRAPER, Utah – Sept. 6, 2006 - Mvelopes®Personal was recognized by Adobe Systems Incorporated today as the "Site of the Day" for Mvelopes' innovative use of Adobe products in creating the award-winning spending management program. Recently named one of "The 100 Best Products of 2006" by PC World, Mvelopes was also recognized for its strong design and intuitive features.
Mvelopes Personal is a Rich Internet Application (RIA), based on traditional envelope budgeting where cash is divided among paper envelopes designated for specific areas of spending. Built as an entirely online application using the Adobe® Flex® product line, Mvelopes gives users anytime, anywhere access to their spending and account information with the feel and robust functionality of a desktop software program.

Mvelopes allows users to monitor and control their finances by helping create a complete spending plan, and then automatically retrieves all their transactions from all their accounts with online access. Transactions are then assigned to virtual spending envelopes, which function as miniature spending accounts, each with a running balance. Money is set aside in an envelope before it is spent, so users avoid overspending and build up balances for future spending.
