David Leeper has thirty-six years of experience in digital communications, software, system architecture, wireless technology, engineering and management. His experience includes designing and launching a multimillion-dollar business at Bellcore (now Telcordia). He has an entrepreneurial spirit, strong communication and recruiting skills and extensive contacts in the industry. He is also an evangelist and leader for visionary programs.
David is currently Chief Technical Officer for Intel's Ultrawideband Wireless Group. At Intel, he has co-founded four internal startups serving as CTO for all of them. David began his career at AT&T Bell Labs and has held officer-level positions at Bellcore and Motorola. David holds bachelors, masters, and PhD degrees in engineering from Washington University, Cornell, and Penn. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE, represents Intel at Arizona State University, and is a member of the Washington University Regional Cabinet.
David holds ten granted and pending patents in digital communications and wireless technologies, and he has published numerous papers in Scientific American, IEEE, and other technical journals.
